Warnung!
Dass Hardware kaputt gehen kann, ist mir klar, doch das folgende Erlebnis zwingt mich eine deutliche Kaufwarnung für folgendes Produkt auszusprechen:

Western Digital WD My Book Studio External Hard Drive 2 TB Firewire

Bei mir hatten zwei dieser Geräte innerhalb von 36 Stunden TOTAL Ausfall. Davon abgesehen, dass die 00800 Nummern des Service nicht funktionieren und ich deshalb eine 0031-880062100 Nummer im Ausland anrufen musste, war die Auskunft äußerst unbefriedigend und brachte keine Hilfe.

Also Leute Finger weg von diesen Laufwerken! Wer schom mal mehr als 1,5 TByte auf ein Laufwerk aufgespielt hat, weiß wie viel Zeit,
das in Anspruch nimmt. Umso ärgerlicher ist es, wenn das Backup Laufwerk gleichen Typs Stunden später ebenfalls die Segel streicht!

Consumer warning!

The fact that hardware can go broken is conscious to me, but the following expirience forces to express me a clear purchase warning for the following product:

Western Digital WD My Book Studio External Hard Drive 2 TB Firewire

Two of these devices had within 36 hours total failures.

The service line was not attainable over the 00800 numbers, then I had to call a number in England, long waiting music loop,
completely umbefriedigende information and unfriendly.

Who played already once over 1,5 TB on a disk, knows how  much time this will requires; it is all the more annoying,
if the Backup drive of same type gives few hours later also completely the spirit up.

Keep Your hands away from this drives!! Annoyance is pre-programmed!.
